My recent set at the Nave Gallery in Somerville, MA has been podcasted! (is podcasted a verb?)
?
Anyway, you can listen, comment, and download heRE: ht?
During this set, I included some field recordings from inside the aviary at my house. So...you could say there?were some guest vocalists on the bill.
?
Many thanks to Randy for organizing the podcasts. And thanks again to Astro Al for organizing the show. Also, many thanks to my friends who came to?hear?our music at the Nave.

a metamorphosis transformed...

Video artist and photographer extrordinaire Jeff DeRose has captured a most amazing transformation in his latest short film. I'll give you a hint, but you should really view it yourself to experience the full intensity of the piece.

It shows something that probably happens in your own backyard on a regular basis. Something natural & beautiful, yet something you have probably never watched up close. And though it is a completely natural occurrence, this up close view makes it seem like something from another world...something a bit unsettling and frightening...I am honored that he's chosen to use my music as a soundtrack!

You can view the piece at his website: Ice-Axe.com. I've watched it over and over, and each time I view it, more of the magic is revealed. (I should also add that there's a bit of a twist, but you'll see what I mean when you watch it...I have already told you too much...)
