reminder: wisteriax upcoming shows
Hi all,
Just wanted to remind you that I'll be opening a fantastic show this Thursday at the Arlington Regional Theatre. Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys, and the venerable Dreamchild are all on this amazing bill. Not to mention door prizes and other fun stuff. I still have some advance tickets available for just $12. (or you could pay $15 at the door if you prefer) Contact me for delicious details!

And...
I also still have a few tickets left for the Edgar Allen Poe show on Oct. 18th at the Athenian Corner in Lowell. These tickets are only available in advance, so speak now or hold your peace forevermore!

summer and beyond... with wisteriax

Hi there!
I hope you've managed to get out and enjoy all 3 days of nice weather we've had this summer, and I have a few shows coming up that I'm so excited to tell you about...
 
On Saturday August 8th at Nick's in Worcester, MA I will be sitting in with Thomas Nola et son Orchestre. We're opening for Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys, and the astounding David E. Williams is also on the bill. This venue is a true gem, and there's no admission - you must come enjoy the atmosphere and the cocktails! Come early to enjoy the circa 1938 jukebox tuneage!

Next, On Thursday August 27th at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA, I will play an opening solo set at the cd release party for Dreamchild's masterful work, "Sleeping Flowers, Severed, Scream of Slaughter" I hear that Walter Sickert and his Army is also playing this show, and some other special guests not yet to be revealed...

Last but not least, On Sunday, October 18th at 7PM, Morgana presents "The Edgar Allan Poe Show: A Poem, a dance, a dream within a dream" at the Athenian Corner in Lowell. I'll be the special musical guest, backing up some lovely readings. You don't want to miss the Oriental Dance  Illuminations of Poe classics that will be presented here by Morgana, Badriya Al-Badi'a, Nadia and others...contact me for tickets, as they're only available in advance.

a very wisteriax halloween...


Hi folks,
If you are still looking for some Halloween adventures, I have good news!
?
This Thursday night at 9PM?I will join Orgy of Noise for an especially spooky pre-Halloween performance at?The Bear's in Cambridge. Also in the lineUP: Bill T. Miller on toys and more toys (he's the oon ringmaster, of course!) Deftly-D on scrap metal and indistrial banjo, and Ajda the Turkish Queen will sweeten the deal with her hauntingly lovely vocals. You'll want to stay for the whole show to see the Boston Typewriter Orchestra and The Secret Sea & Crushes. See the attached flyer for details and awesome head shots!?
Then on Friday October, 31 at 10:00 PM I'll be sitting in with Thomas N?la
et son Orchestre for a performance of the new album "Rose Tinted
Monocle," with a prelude performance by David E. Williams on solo grand
piano. There is no charge to attend this premiere and complimentary
champagne will be served, but formal attire or a creative costume is
required for admittance. There will be no exceptions.

wisteriax fall update: when it rains, it pours!

Spring update from wisteriax
Hi everyone,
Hope you're all having a lovely Spring!
Just an update on a couple of shows I have coming up.

This Saturday, I'll be performing at 119 Gallery as part of a very special ensemble called "Impromptu 3." We aRE: Michael Bloom -- Table Guitar and Bass
Eric Crawley -- Harpejji, synth and electronic percussion.
Karen Langlie (that's me!) Augmented cello.

Video improvisations by the incredible Dr. T and movement by Cilla Vee will be a part of the performance as well, so this set is going to be chock full of sweet audio-visual treats.
